The candidate should have an in-depth understanding of existing QA methodologies to implement and maintain a coherent, progressive, code-based QA strategy for Autodesk Utility Design and other GBU Market Group products. The candidate will work closely with Development engineers under the general direction from remote teams in San Rafael and Gumligen. </FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"></FONT><BR><STRONG><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</FONT></STRONG><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Design, implement, execute and maintain black box, grey box and automated test strategies for new and existing Autodesk GBU Market Group products.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Develop, execute and maintain software test designs and test suites will include both GUI and API level tests(C#, .Net, C++)</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Report defects/issues and verify code fixes during the release cycle.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Develop and implement automation tests to increase effective regression coverage.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Participates in estimating and planning software testing tasks for themselves and others.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Logs defects in database for tracking and reporting.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Develop an in-depth, detailed understanding of GBU Market Group products and architecture in order to provide effective test strategy</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Use design and code coverage analysis tools to evaluate and improve efficiency and coverage of product test strategy</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"></FONT><BR><STRONG><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">Requirements:</FONT></STRONG><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, GIS with 1-3 years experience in Software Quality Assurance or equivalent experience</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Strong background in Software Engineering and Quality Assurance techniques, process, practices and methodologies.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Experienced in developing and executing a full spectrum of tests on multiple applications and environments (Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX or HP-UX)</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Proficient in SQL, Oracle, and other RDBMS.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Hands-on experience with troubleshooting technical problems.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Experienced with using automated system testing tools, such as Silk, Win Runner, or Rational Robot.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Strong written and oral communication skills.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Solid understanding of C/C++, or .NET programming</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"></FONT><BR><STRONG><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">Desired Knowledge/Skills:</FONT></STRONG><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Familiarity with Microsoft Windows user interface and API conventions.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Solid understanding AutoLISP, VB, or Java would be a strong plus.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Knowledge of Electric, GAS, Water, Waste Water and Pipe would be a plus.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Knowledge of GIS domain software such as Autodesk Topobase, Autodesk Map 3D, Autodesk MapGuide, ESRI would be a plus.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Results-oriented approach to problem solving.</FONT><BR><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">* Candidates with software globalization testing, performance testing experience highly desirable.</FONT><BR><FONT face="Times New Roman "><FONT size=3></FONT></FONT></DIV>
